Clothespin (Claes Oldenburg & Coosje van Bruggen)

Clothespin is a 45-foot-tall Cor-Ten steel sculpture by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen installed outside Centre Square in downtown Philadelphia. The Pop Art work was installed in 1976 and stands prominently in front of the One Penn Center complex. It is a well-known public art installation on Market Street and a frequent reference point for the surrounding business district.
