Concrete (Alserkal Avenue)

Concrete is a unique multi-disciplinary space located in Al Quoz, Dubai, and is notable for being the first building in the UAE designed by the renowned Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA). Opened in March 2017, it features a versatile 600-square-metre area with double-height ceilings and a translucent facade that enhances indoor-outdoor experiences. The venue has hosted several significant non-profit exhibitions, including 'Syria: Into the Light' and collaborations with prestigious institutions like the Victoria & Albert Museum. In 2019, Concrete was shortlisted for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture, highlighting its architectural significance.
