Kalita Humphreys Theater (Frank Lloyd Wright)

The Kalita Humphreys Theater on Turtle Creek Boulevard is the only theater building designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright; the structure was completed and opened in 1959. The building's cantilevered proscenium and distinctive brick-and-granite facade represent Wright's late-career architectural approach applied to a performing-arts installation. The theater continues to serve as a venue for theatrical productions and is noted in architectural history for its association with Wright.
