Beer Can House (folk-art environment)

The Beer Can House at 222 Malone Street is a folk-art house created by John Milkovisch who began covering the exterior and yard with flattened beer cans, bottle caps, and other found materials beginning in the 1960s. The site has been preserved as a landmark example of outsider art and is managed for public tours by the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art. It is widely cited in documentation of American vernacular folk-art environments.
