Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

The 72 steps leading to the entrance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Benjamin Franklin Parkway became popularly known as the 'Rocky Steps' after the 1976 film Rocky featured the character running up them. A bronze Rocky statue associated with the film has been displayed adjacent to the museum and is a frequent photo spot for visitors and locals. Local runners and fitness groups commonly use the steps as part of regular exercise routines.
