Roxie Theater

The Roxie Theater is a nonprofit independent cinema in the Mission District that programs independent, documentary, and repertory film screenings and hosts film festivals and community events. Located on 16th Street, the Roxie is widely recognized as one of the oldest continuously operating movie theaters in the United States. The theater has long served as a neighborhood venue for film premieres, retrospectives, and filmmaker Q&As.
