Eagle Creek Park

Eagle Creek Park, one of the largest municipal parks in the United States, opened in the early 1960s and encompasses thousands of acres of woodlands, trails, and a large reservoir used for boating and nature programs. The park includes an outdoor education center, marinas, and extensive recreational facilities and is a major regional outdoor recreation and conservation landmark for Indianapolis neighborhoods and residents. It is managed by Indy Parks and draws visitors for hiking, sailing, and wildlife observation.
