Tudor Place historic house museum

Tudor Place is a Federal-era estate in Georgetown built for Martha Custis Peter in the early 19th century and associated with descendants of Martha Washington. The house museum preserves period architecture, decorative arts, and archival collections relating to the Peters family and Washington-area history. Tudor Place offers guided tours, exhibitions, and public programs and is designated a National Historic Landmark.
