Macau Refuse Incineration Plant

The Macau Refuse Incineration Plant, located in Taipa, is a significant facility for waste management in the region. Commissioned in 1992, it has undergone expansions, doubling its waste processing capacity in 2009. Covering an area of 4.5 hectares, the plant operates six incinerators, capable of processing up to 1,728 tons of waste daily, with a current operational capacity of 1,400 tons per day.
