Sodre National Auditorium

The Sodre National Auditorium, officially known as Auditorio Nacional del Sodre Dr. Adela Reta, is a prominent arts center located in the heart of Montevideo, Uruguay. Named after a notable figure in Uruguayan broadcasting, the auditorium was designated a Historical Monument in 2019. Housed in the historic Urquiza Theater building, which was rebuilt after a fire in 1971, it features two main halls: the expansive Eduardo Fabini Hall, with a capacity of 2000 seats and the largest stage in the country, and the versatile Hugo Balzo Hall, designed for smaller performances.
