Natural Bridge Caverns - large subterranean calcite formations

Natural Bridge Caverns contains extensive cave formations including stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone, and columns formed from calcite deposits. The commercial show caverns were developed after the cave system was discovered and opened for guided tours, making the site a major local example of Texas karst geology.
