Fishmongers Arms

The Fishmongers Arms, a former public house in Wood Green, London, was established in 1855 and named after nearby almshouses. It featured Bourne Hall, a dance venue that became the Wood Green Jazz Club in the 1940s, and hosted notable jazz musicians. In the 1960s, it transformed into a rock music venue, showcasing early performances by legendary artists like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Rod Stewart. After various name changes, it closed in the 2000s and was converted into flats. A Grade II listed cattle trough from 1901 remains on the premises, adding historical significance to the site.
