San Jose Diridon Station (Cahill Depot)

San Jose Diridon Station, originally built as the Cahill Depot in 1935, is a historic rail depot constructed in a Spanish Colonial Revival / Mission Revival style for Southern Pacific Railroad. The station serves as a major transportation hub for Amtrak, Caltrain and local transit and is the planned cornerstone for regional projects including high-speed rail and BART expansion. The depot building is a locally recognized historic landmark and focal point of downtown transit planning.
