Rantalinna Manor

Rantalinna Manor, located on the picturesque banks of Saimaa lake in Ruokolahti, Finland, is a historic mansion built in 1912 for judge Fritz Wiik. It later became the residence of Prince Alexander of Oldenburg and his wife, Princess Eugenia, who were known for their philanthropy. The couple lived in the manor until 1929, maintaining a lavish lifestyle with a large staff and luxury vehicles. After serving as a holiday home for Finnish conductors, the manor has been transformed into a hotel since the 1990s. Visitors can admire its stunning Art Nouveau architecture and restored interiors, which reflect its princely heritage.
