Ezekiel W. Cullen Building

The Ezekiel W. Cullen Building, often referred to as the E. Cullen Building, is the administrative hub of the University of Houston, located in Houston, Texas. Opened in 1950 and designed by architect Alfred C. Finn in the Art Deco style, it is named after Ezekiel Wimberly Cullen, a notable congressman of the Republic of Texas. The building features the Cullen Performance Hall and houses the university president's office. It is a significant landmark on campus, reflecting the university's history and architectural heritage. Notably, it was home to the first public television station in the U.S., KUHT, which began broadcasting in 1953.
