Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign (Betty Willis, 1959)

Designed and created by graphic artist Betty Willis in 1959, the "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign remains at its original location on the Las Vegas Strip and is an internationally recognized symbol of the city. Willis chose not to copyright the design, which contributed to its widespread reproduction and use. The sign is a frequent photography spot and landmark for visitors entering the south end of the Strip.
