Texas Theatre (site of Lee Harvey Oswald's arrest)

The Texas Theatre in the Oak Cliff neighborhood opened in 1931 and is the location where Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested on November 22, 1963. Photographs of the theater's marquee and interior have been used in historical coverage and are sometimes repurposed in internet posts and memes concerning the JFK assassination and archival imagery. The Texas Theatre continues to operate as a cinema and event venue.
