Paycocke's House and Gardens

Paycocke's House and Gardens, located in Coggeshall, Essex, is a remarkable Tudor merchant's residence that showcases exquisite half-timbered architecture and intricate woodwork. Built in the late 15th century for wealthy cloth merchant Thomas Paycocke, the house served both as a home and a status symbol, reflecting the prosperity of the wool trade in East Anglia.
