Houston Oilers played home games at the Astrodome (1968–1996)

The Houston Oilers moved their home games to the Houston Astrodome beginning in the 1968 season and continued to play there through the 1996 season. The Oilers were a charter AFL franchise and later an NFL team; the franchise relocated to Tennessee in 1997. The Astrodome served as the Oilers' primary home stadium for nearly three decades.
