San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA)

SFMOMA is a major modern and contemporary art museum that reopened after a multi-year expansion in May 2016. The expansion, designed by Snøhetta in collaboration with Gensler, significantly increased the museum's gallery space and added a large, terraced atrium. The building is notable for its prominent location in SoMa and for being one of the largest museums devoted to modern and contemporary art in the United States.
