Narmanlı Han

Narmanlı Han, a historical building in Beyoğlu, Istanbul, was constructed in 1831 and originally served as the Russian Embassy. It later functioned as a prison and became a cultural hub for artists and writers, including notable figures like Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu and Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar. After years of vacancy, it was purchased by the Esen and Erkul families in 2014 and underwent a significant restoration led by architect Sinan Genim. Today, it features shops and retains its historic charm, making it an intriguing site for tourists and researchers interested in Istanbul's rich cultural heritage.
