110 Livingston Street is a stunning Beaux Arts-style building in Downtown Brooklyn, originally constructed in 1926 as the headquarters for the Elks organization, featuring amenities like a pool and bowling alleys. Designed by the renowned architectural firm McKim, Mead & White, its impressive limestone and terra cotta facade showcases Renaissance-revival elements. The building later served as the New York City Board of Education headquarters, becoming a symbol of the city's educational challenges. In 2003, it was transformed into luxury residential apartments by Two Trees Management, incorporating modern design while preserving its historic charm, including a beautifully restored lobby and a theater space for local arts.
