Lear House

The Lear House, built around 1810, is a historic plank-frame house located in the rural community of Goshen, New Hampshire. As one of the oldest structures in the area, it reflects the early colonial history of the region, being owned by Robert Lear, one of the first settlers. The house features a distinctive wooden structure with a gabled roof and granite foundation, showcasing the architectural style of its time. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, the Lear House offers a glimpse into the early 19th-century life and is part of a unique collection of historic homes in Goshen.
