Broad Street Market

The Broad Street Market, established in 1863 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is one of the oldest continuously operating farmers markets in the United States. Originally founded by the Verbeke family, the market features two historic structures: the Stone Market house and the Brick Market house. It played a vital role during the American Civil War by supplying food to Union soldiers.
