425 Park Avenue is a striking office skyscraper located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, completed in October 2022 after an extensive redevelopment process. Originally built in 1957, the building was modernist in style and stood 388 feet tall. The redevelopment, led by L&L Holding and GreenOak Real Estate with design by Foster + Partners, preserved 25% of the original structure while introducing innovative architectural features, including three prominent concrete fins and high-ceilinged, column-free spaces. The project faced challenges due to zoning regulations and the need to maintain structural integrity during construction. This new landmark not only enhances the skyline but also revitalizes the business district, offering modern office space in one of the city's key commercial areas.
