McMenamins Kennedy School

McMenamins Kennedy School is a repurposed historic elementary school in Northeast Portland that now functions as a hotel with bars, restaurants, and movie theaters while retaining original classrooms and hallways converted into guest rooms and event spaces. The property preserves and highlights school-era architectural features such as classroom doors and chalkboards. It is a locally recognized neighborhood icon and an example of adaptive reuse in Northeast Portland.
