Fearless Girl (sculpture)

Created by artist Kristen Visbal and installed in March 2017, Fearless Girl is a bronze sculpture that was originally placed facing the Charging Bull at Bowling Green and quickly became a widely photographed public artwork. In December 2018 the statue was moved to a permanent location outside 11 Wall Street near the New York Stock Exchange to continue its role as a public art piece addressing themes of gender balance in corporate leadership. The work is owned and administered by State Street Global Advisors in coordination with city authorities.
