The Clerk's House

The Clerk's House is a historic Grade II listed building located at 118½ Shoreditch High Street in Shoreditch, England, dating back to 1735. This two-storey structure, which includes an attic and a basement, features some 16th-century wood panelling. Once believed to have served as a watch house for monitoring body snatchers near St Leonard's churchyard, the ground floor now hosts a business while the upper levels are residential. In 2024, it transformed into an exhibition space for Emalin, blending contemporary art with its rich historical backdrop.
