GM Renaissance Center (Renaissance Center)

Completed in 1977 and developed by the Ford Motor Company before General Motors later centralized operations there, the Renaissance Center is a complex of seven interconnected skyscrapers on the Detroit riverfront. The complex includes the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, the tallest building in Michigan, and serves as GM's global headquarters. The center has been a focal point of downtown redevelopment and riverfront revitalization since its opening.
