Rieser–Shoemaker Farm

The Rieser–Shoemaker Farm is a historic farm complex located in Bern Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania, recognized as a national historic district since 1992. This site features a collection of seven contributing buildings, including a Federal-style farmhouse and a Pennsylvania bank barn, both dating back to around 1820. Visitors can explore the architectural heritage of the early 19th century, with additional outbuildings and a stone walled spring that reflect the agricultural history of the area. The original land grant was made in 1725, adding to the site's historical significance.
