Paul Revere House - starting point of the Midnight Ride

Paul Revere's home in the North End is the documented residence from which he departed on his April 18–19, 1775 ride to warn colonial militia of British troop movements. The house, built c. 1680 and later owned by Revere, is preserved as a museum interpreting his role in the events that led to the battles of Lexington and Concord. Visitors can tour the restored colonial house and exhibits about Revere's life and the ride. The site is a primary historic location associated with the opening events of armed conflict in the American Revolution.
