Princess House

The Princess House, located on Alexandra Road in Queenstown, Singapore, is a historically significant seven-storey building originally constructed in 1957. Initially serving as the offices for the Singapore Improvement Trust, it later became the first dedicated headquarters for the Housing and Development Board. The building features a simple design with a U-shaped roof that doubles as a viewing deck. Over the years, it has housed various government departments and has been visited by notable figures such as Prince Philip and Princess Margaret. In 2007, it was gazetted for conservation, and it is now a key landmark on the My Queenstown Heritage Trail, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers alike.
