Paul Revere House - colonial-era urban home

The Paul Revere House at 19 North Square is the preserved 17th-century home where silversmith and Revolutionary patriot Paul Revere lived from 1770 to 1800. The structure dates to about 1680 and is one of the oldest buildings in Boston's North End, interpreted today as a house museum. It is a documented site on the Freedom Trail and contains period furnishings and exhibits about Revere's life and trades. The house's continuous urban context makes it a notable surviving example of colonial domestic architecture in downtown Boston.
