Sonneborn Building

The Sonneborn Building, also known as the Paca-Pratt Building, is a historic nine-story loft structure located in Baltimore, Maryland. Completed in 1905 and designed by Theodore Wells Pietsch, this impressive building showcases Neoclassical Revival architecture and was originally built as a vertical clothing manufactory for Henry Sonneborn and Company. Notably, it was the tallest and largest manufacturing building in Baltimore at the time. The building features fireproof reinforced-concrete construction with a striking buff-colored brick facade and stone trim. Recognized for its historical significance, the Sonneborn Building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and is situated within the Loft Historic District South, making it a noteworthy destination for tourists and researchers alike.
