Barton Springs Bathhouse (Art Moderne bathhouse)

The Barton Springs Bathhouse building dates to 1947 and is an example of Art Moderne civic architecture serving the public pool at Zilker Park. Barton Springs Pool is fed by natural springs and has operated as a popular public swimming area since the late 19th century. The bathhouse and pool are prominent historic and recreational features of Austin's park system.
