Wendouree Tearooms

Wendouree Tearooms, situated on Stirling Terrace in Toodyay, Western Australia, has a rich history dating back to the late 1860s. Originally built by Daniel Connor, the site has served various purposes, including a bakery and produce store, while consistently operating as tearooms since around 1870. Over the years, it has been owned by several families, including the Whitfields, Haymes, and Campbells, each contributing to its legacy. The tearooms are notable for their unique architectural features, including a cantilever verandah and a prominent Art Deco style. Today, they continue to be a charming spot for visitors, reflecting the historical essence of Toodyay.
