Larimer Square (historic commercial block)

Larimer Square is Denver's oldest commercial block and was redeveloped into a preserved historic district and retail/restaurant corridor in the mid-20th century. The block is known for its 19th-century cast-iron and brick buildings, string lights, and concentration of dining and nightlife establishments that anchor the LoDo neighborhood. Preservation efforts led by local developers helped make Larimer Square an early model of urban historic preservation in Denver.
