Stone House (Fayetteville, Arkansas)

The Stone House, also known as the Walker-Stone House, is a historic two-story brick building located at 207 Center Street in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Built in 1845 by David Walker, this architectural gem features a striking Victorian-style porch with intricate details. It is one of the few structures in Fayetteville to have survived the American Civil War, despite sustaining some damage. The house has a rich history, having been owned by the Stone family for many years, and was restored by a descendant in the late 1960s. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history.
