James B. Barnes House

The James B. Barnes House, located at 109 Hampshire Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is a historic brick Federal-style house built in 1824. It is notable for being one of the few surviving examples of early residential architecture in East Cambridge and features a distinctive fanlight above its entrance. The house was originally constructed for an English glassmaker and has been relocated twice, most recently in 1984. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture and history.
