Mapparium interior globe vantage

The Mapparium is a three-story stained-glass globe you can walk through inside the Mary Baker Eddy Library. Constructed in 1935, it presents a world map as it appeared at that time. Visitors on the interior catwalk can see the entire illuminated globe from the inside and experience pronounced acoustic effects often described as a whispering-gallery phenomenon.
