Overland Waterloo Company Building

The Overland Waterloo Company Building, a historic site in Waterloo, Iowa, was constructed in 1916 and originally served as the Northeast Iowa distributorship for Willys-Overland Motors. Designed by local architect Clinton P. Shockley, this four-story brick building features distinctive architectural elements such as terra cotta pilasters and decorative plaques. It played a significant role in the automotive industry until 1955 when it transitioned to a broadcast facility for KWWL radio and KWWL-TV. The building remains in use for broadcasting today and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2014, making it a noteworthy stop for tourists and researchers interested in automotive history and architectural heritage.
