Joyce Hotel

The Joyce Hotel, originally known as Hotel Treves, is a historic building located in downtown Portland, Oregon. Once a hotel, it has a rich history and has housed the Fish Grotto restaurant. In 2016, the Portland Housing Bureau acquired the building, and a significant renovation project began in February 2022, aiming to transform the vacant structure into 66 units of permanent affordable housing, along with mental health services and retail space on the ground floor. This project highlights the city's commitment to revitalizing historic sites while addressing housing needs.
