Originally serving as the town's telephone exchange, this two-story brick building features a distinctive flat roof and is notable for its three-bay façade, complete with an original brass payment slot. Constructed by local attorney R. C. Rose, the building reflects the early 20th-century architecture and was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers.
