Lincoln Theatre (U Street Corridor)

The Lincoln Theatre, opened in 1922 on U Street, is a historic performance venue that became a key entertainment hub for Washington's African American community during segregation. Over the decades it hosted prominent performers from vaudeville, jazz, and later popular music and has been restored and reopened to present concerts, film screenings, and cultural programming.
