Pittock Mansion - early 20th-century hilltop residence

Pittock Mansion was completed in 1914 for newspaper publisher Henry L. Pittock and his family. The French Renaissance–style mansion sits on Portland's West Hills and offers panoramic views of downtown and the Cascade Range. It operates as a museum preserving original furnishings and historic interiors and is open to the public. The house is a prominent example of early-20th-century private residential construction in Portland.
