Gustavus G. Prescott House

The Gustavus G. Prescott House is a historic Greek Revival residence located in Somerville, Massachusetts, notable for its rare five-bay center-entry design. Constructed in the 1840s, this 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house reflects the architectural style of its time and is one of the few remaining examples in East Somerville. Originally owned by merchant Gustavus Prescott, who is believed to have operated an inn on the property, the house was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
