Petőfi Csarnok

Petőfi Csarnok, also known as PeCsa, was a vibrant leisure center and concert hall located in Budapest's Városliget from 2016 to 2017. This venue, with a capacity of 4,500, hosted numerous pop and rock concerts, cultural programs, and exhibitions, attracting over 10 million visitors since its opening in 1985. Originally built on the site of the Iparcsarnok, which was damaged during World War II, PeCsa served as a key youth center for decades. However, due to its declining condition and plans for the reconstruction of City Park, the building was demolished in early 2017, marking the end of an era for Budapest's cultural scene.
