Mather Building

The Mather Building, also known as Franklin & DeHaven Jewelers, was a historic commercial structure in Parkersburg, West Virginia, built in 1898. This Classical-style building featured striking red brick and sandstone architecture, along with a notable interior that included a fine tin ceiling and a built-in vault. It was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, but unfortunately, it was demolished on June 23, 2018. The site remains a point of interest for those exploring the architectural heritage of the region.
