Hamilton Grange, Alexander Hamilton's Preserved Home

Hamilton Grange is the relocated and preserved home of Alexander Hamilton, originally built in 1802 and moved twice before its current placement in St. Nicholas Park. The house operates as the Hamilton Grange National Memorial and contains exhibits about Hamilton's life and career. The structure was relocated to preserve it from demolition and is interpreted to reflect Hamilton's residence in New York City during the early republic. The site is maintained by the National Park Service as a documented historic house museum.
