William B. Dunlap Mansion

The William B. Dunlap Mansion, a historic house in Bridgewater, Pennsylvania, was built in 1840 and is renowned for its Greek Revival architecture. Originally constructed for coffee entrepreneur James Arbuckle, it later became the residence of Samuel R. Dunlap and his son William, a notable public official. The mansion was celebrated for its preservation and grandeur, featuring a three-story brick structure with a cedar interior and once surrounded by an expansive formal garden. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 but was sadly demolished in 2017 due to structural issues. The mansion's rich history and architectural significance make it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers.
